LEAD Invites application for a short training on "Leadership and Climate Change - The Energy way of Moving towards Low Carbon Economy".
The challenges posed by changing climate scenario to Society, Community and Development are not unknown to the world. A recent study conducted by the Asian Development Bank declares that 'South Asia is likely to face soaring costs if climate change action is delayed'.
Estimates indicate that cost of in action is more than cost of action! Need of the hours thus is to .
take action, which is geared towards sustainable development, in all big and small initiatives, and which is essentially based on 'Low Carbon - High Growth' and which is essentially based on 'Low Carbon - High Growth' model
To achieve this we need leaders from a multitude of fields, at all levels, in our society, who could take climate friendly action in their spheres of work and also influence others.
