Decentralised Resource Centres

LEAD India's Decentralised Resource Centres (DRC's) was born out of a realization that there is a need to develop and bring alive an information service that attempts to meet the needs of development practitioners, development organizations, civil society, and the public in general and thus support them in their activities. The DRC concept is based on the formation of regional working group networks of LEAD Fellows, each anchored by one or more Fellows and eventually comprising of an ensemble of organizations from their respective regions working to produce and circulate knowledge and experience with the shared goal of working together in each region in order to improve regional skills and capacity for action. At present LEAD India has three DRC's in place.
