Come… Join the LEAD program & become a LEADer for sustainable development
The LEAD Program has been running in India for the last 17 years and has trained 156 LEADers so far!
LEAD identifies mid career professionals from diverse disciplines to enhance their knowledge, skills and self awareness that builds leadership for environment and sustainable development which goes a long way in defining their careers. LEAD training offers various tools for action and communication that links the Associates, as the selected trainees are called, to a global network that becomes a resource in shaping up national and international policies.
LEAD recognizes that people start from different places, with different expectations and have different learning style. That’s how our Cohort trainings are learner centered, participatory, experiential, dynamic and fun!
Every year we recruit responsible professionals, from the government, business, academia, voluntary organizations and media sectors, who are trained to sharpen their skill set on following modules that have been developed internationally:
· Leadership for a sustainable world – Practical skills for promoting change · Systems thinking for transformational change · Negotiation and problem solving · Creating high performance teams for sustainable development · Ethical decision making · Strengthening cross cultural communication skills
The entire training program runs parallel in 14 countries and is spread over three mandatory National Training Sessions (NTS) of 6 days each. This is followed by an International Training Session (ITS; optional) where Associates join more than 100 participants representing over 30 countries for a multi cultural, cross sector experience.
