Wildlife Conservation Award for Krishnendu Bose

Dear Friends,

It is my pleasure to share the great news and congratulate Krishnendu Bose, Cohort 3, India, EarthCare Films (http://www.earthcarefilms.com/ ) on his Wildlife Conservation Award which he has just won at the biggest Indian Wildlife Environment Film Festival - Vatavaran Film Festival – with his latest film: ‘Tiger- the death chronicles’. This award had a cash prize of 2,500US$.

His film assesses the tiger crisis and the future of this charismatic animal with uncompromising, painfully outspoken attitude. The film is also nominated for the Planet in Focus Film Festival in Toronto and will be screened on 25th Oct.

Krishnendu has made several films for LEAD projects including the Darwin Initiative in Lakshadweep (http://www.lead.org/page/89 ) and the C11 Global Training Session in Bhopal.

Congratulations!
