To create Leaders committed to Climate Change and sustainable development, a one year Leadership Training on Climate Change has been designed keeping in mind our flagship cohort training programme. The theme for training this year's Cohort 15 associates is "Leadership and Climate Change". The training curriculum is divided into four training sessions of which two are National Training Sessions, one Virtual Training Session and one International Training Session.

1st National Training Session:

The theme for the first National training session (NTS) was 'Climate Change and Social Responsibility'. The aim was to ensure the trainees would understand Social Responsibility practices that are inclusive and demonstrate the benefits of engaging stakeholders. Corporate Social Responsibility, if taken up by industry in the right spirit and orientated towards the

global issues, can play a significant role in containing the impact of Climate Change world over. It was this premise on which the NTS was based and was structured on participatory group work and group exercises.

2nd National Training Session:

2nd National Training Session was held at the Centre for Experiencing Social and Cultural Interaction in Madurai. With Climate Change vis-à-vis Energy as its theme, the focus was on providing comprehensive content and understanding on the theme and was constructed around a case study of Decentralized Rural Household energy solution using cleaner efficient stoves and biofuel pellets. The Case was analyzed through the frameworks of Systems thinking, Leadership, Stakeholder analysis and Negotiation, with experienced facilitators guiding the participants through these areas.
